The Iowa Breeders Cutting Futurity's entries were up in numbers this year. It paid out very well with $10,000.00 prorated between the entries, and an additional $1,000.00 Incentive going to the 3 Year Old Open Champion, “Jay Bee Disco” owned by Ryan & Jane Yarbro of Oxly, Mo. and shown by Angela Ball of Mountain Home, Mo. 2nd place winner went to “Mini Morias Disco” owned by Jim & Brena Kropf of Wall Lake, Ia. and shown by Dean Doman of Windchester, Ks. 3rd place winner went to “Amy Jo Lena” owned by Steve Carnine of Ankeny, Ia. and shown by Dave Borness of Murray, Ia. The 3 Yr. Old Nominated Stallion, “Hesplayincatnmouse”, owned by Means Performance Horses of Baxter and shown by Scott McKinsey of Gallatin, Mo. didn't make the Finals, but came back to win the 2nd Go Round. The 5/6 Year Old Open Champion was “Disco Deena” owned by Robert Eason of Scranton, Ia. and shown by Greg Beutenmiller of Harrisburg, Mo. In the 5/6 Yr. Old Open, “Little Disco Shorty”, owned by Phil Langstraat of Indianola, Ia. and shown by Seth Kirchner of Clarinda, Ia. barely missed the Finals, but won the 2nd Go Round. The 5/6 Year Old Non Pro Champion & Go Rounds Winner was also “Disco Deena” owned & shown by Robert Eason.

This is the second year the Iowa Breeders Classes have shown as a Class within a Class with the
Iowa Cutting Horse Association's Futurity. The Show Results & Pay Out for the Iowa Breeders
Classes are completely separate as are published below.
